David always listens to my requirements and works out a training program to keep sessions fun and interesting. ‘New year’s came.... Resolution time, mine was the same as I had every year, 'I am going to join the gym' I know I know but this year I am going to stick to it. I joined and guess what I didn’t stick to it. I wanted something different where I was exercising but also learning something new. I know kickboxing!! Simple, I have to admit, I didn’t think I would stick to it. Two years down the line I am still kickboxing thanks to David! I find that David is fantastic at pushing me that little bit further his style is great as no lesson is the same it is great combination of kickboxing and general fitness. I find David really listens to your goals and the lessons are tailored to your needs. I have always highly recommended David to people that I talk to and they have joined up for the lessons and really enjoyed them. “I have been training with David for a while now as I finally got to a stage when I could no longer ignore the expanding waistline and the slightly out of breath feeling when climbing stairs.  This isn’t a “one size fits all” exercise regime. David talks to you, listens to your aims and goals as well as what you do and don’t enjoy and tailors the sessions to suit the individual. There is an emphasis on kick boxing moves but this shouldn’t put anyone off as you don’t need to be a martial arts expert (trust me I am proof of that!) to enjoy these and to gain real benefits from them.  I come away from each session absolutely exhausted with no energy left, but with a real sense of achievement and I think that’s what you want from exercise isn’t it?  The sessions are always fun but challenging too and David records what is being done so that improvement can be tracked and measured. Whilst this is mostly a good thing it can be frustrating when trying to beat your last best time!  I can honestly say that getting in touch with David is one of the best things I have ever done. "Having recently moved to Leeds I decided to try something different from my usual half hearted gym routine. I wanted some form of self  defence, but also something that would help with my lack of fitness, and quickly expanding wasitline!
